Butch Boyle Scholarship
In memory of Butch Boyle, a great member and friend of the
Longmeadow Youth Soccer Program, the Longmeadow Soccer Association
is proud to offer an annual $500 scholarship to graduating seniors.
Scholarship Eligibility:
1. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who is
planning to attend a two or four year degree granting college or university.
2. Applicant must have actively participated in the Longmeadow Soccer program.
3. Applicant must display good sportsmanship and leadership qualities.

Butch Boyle Scholarship Application Form
is in Rich Text Format (RTF), which can be used buy many word processing
programs such as MS Word, Apple Works and
OpenOffice.
Application forms are alo available at the Longmeadow High School Guidance Office.
2009 Butch Boyle Scholarships
Earlier this summer the LSA awarded scholarships to two members of
the 2009 graduating class at Longmeadow High School. The $500
scholarships were awarded to Kelsey Yam and Mallory Hinman in recognition
of their exemplary participation in the program as players and
continuing their involvement through refereeing during their four years
at Longmeadow High School. Kelsy also ran the snack stand at Wolf Swamp
Field for the 2008 season.

2008 Butch Boyle Scholarships
In the summer of 2008, the LSA awarded scholarships to two members of
the 2008 graduating class at Longmeadow High School. The $500
scholarships were awarded to Chase Hobart and Bill Walen in recognition
of their exemplary participation in the program as players and
continuing their involvement through refereeing during their four years
at Longmeadow High School. Both Hobart and Walen are planning to play
college soccer at Bentley and Wesleyan respectively.
